How's the winter been in this area? We're heading to the Miracle Mile area this year and am a little concerned with how much snow has been on the ground. Has winter hurt the herd much? Thanks so much.

No the winter hasn't been too bad there.

But there weren't many deer classified in that area when they flew in Dec. I assume you are hunting general?

There are no general tags for non residents.

A lot of NRs call the Region tags General tags by mistake.

"I assume you are hunting general?"

If you hunt near the Miracle Mile area for deer, you could be a hunting a LQ area or a GENERAL area, resident or NR makes no difference.

The correct term is region. Thank you.

LAST EDITED ON Mar-05-17 AT 00:03AM (MST)[p]Sorry...we'll be hunting a region D tag. So...not very much snow? I had heard the herd had rebounded quite a bit from 4 years ago since they made it 3 point or better? Do you think that was the reason or was it just good fawn production? Thanks!

I hadn't mentioned what tag I was going to have in the OP...Its just a general question.
