Cool deal and great accomplishment. DIY instructional only works for those that are residents and wont apply to anyone who doesnt live up there or have a family member that lives there

The only sad thing is you can't legally DIY sheep, mtn goat, grizz, or brown bear hunt in Alaska without hiring a guide or having an Alaskan relative along! Those are the type of hunts dreams are made of and it's too bad that guided AK sheep hunts start at around $12k and go as high as $15k! I guess anyone can move up to AK and become a resident though?

It's so true about the non-resident status. No DIY for us since we need a guide.

I watched a TV show about a resident hunter who hunts them every year just for the meat! It made me a little ill to watch. I love Dall sheep meat too..... at $200+++ per pound!
