dad wants a new bow

for some reason, my dad wants to buy a new bow, we havent archery hunted in something like 3 or 4 years that was me carrying my bow for javelina. he doest want to replace the simmons whitetail classic on his new 7mm ultra mag with a new leupold with boone and crockett. so if he is going to buy what he wants, what should he look for in the 500-600 range.

If it were me I"d convince him to change scopes first. The market always has rebuilt Simmmons on sale. And I've seen more than a number of them fall apart, especially on mags.

As to the bow, hey get close like you should, and any bow works great. The new bow can come later.
