Was just on television discussing HCQ, first well controlled study against COVID-19. 600 mg HCQ per day after 6 days, 90% of patients tested COVID-19 negative. 96% of control group tested positive after 6 days. DM or [email protected]

Apparently the FDA has just approved HCQ for COVID-19 treatment.
This is a malaria treatment drug that's been around for a while. While these are very limited trials they believe it's safe so lets give a shot since we don't have anything else.

I think it could be promising.

I think I spoke too soon on the FDA approving HCQ for COVID-19 treatment. Although I read that apparently that isn't correct.
But a local company (Mylan Pharmaceuticals) is going to start making it and will have a supply ready in mid April.

This is a generic drug that has been around for more than 50 years and a lot of companies make it or can make it.
