Saw the movie this past weekend with my boys..... Thought it was OK. Entertaining enough for me, as I kind of expected what I was getting into. ;-)
BTW 1911; What did Opie do to make him a d-bag? Serious question..... I've enjoyed many of his movies.

Yep, same here. I don't follow the politics of each & every celeb either. I suspect that MANY of them lean to the left side, and if I let that bother me that much, I wouldn't have any movies to watch! ;-)

A bit of a stretch IMO........ If I like a restaurant, I eat there. If I like a store, I shop there. If I like the looks of a new movie, I'll watch it. If I need a pair of shoes, I'll buy them. When I need groceries & gas, I buy them too.
I didn't know (or frankly, care....) that Opie was funding the "Anti's". Unfortunately, I just don't have the time to worry about what the trickle down effect of each and every dollar I spend is going to have. I just wanted to see a decent movie! ;-)
Don't get me wrong. It's not that I don't care about the political issues that you have pointed-out. I will support the political causes I see fit in my way, but I'm not going to pass on a decent movie or good pair of shoes just because I'm obsessing over whether a fraction of the profit will go to support something contrary to a cause I believe in. Just don't have the time/energy, that's all.....
