So the wife asked me to teach her to fly fish on our way back from Wy Antelope. Gotta keep her happy you know, so, I'm thinking I can pop a cpl Antelope Does in a nearby unit and get a type 6 Cow tag for 22 and take her to Miracle Mile for fishing. I get to hunt, she gets to fish and we both get to be in Elk country.
Question is, how is that type 6 Cow tag? The area is from Young's Pass, West to the end of the unit, South to the Muddy creek. I will rifle hunt it a few days after opener, mid week probably. Spot and shoot, probably working across the washboards at the timber line.
I talked to the Bio and he said if it's really dry the Elk will move to the north side.
My only other option, for the same money, is the 111 type 6 which is all of the unit "outside the Wildlife area".
Anybody have insight on this little area?
