Couldn't stand it any longer!!

So....it is October 22nd. Couldn't wait any longer. Went out for the grins of it yesterday....found eight (8!) nice muley sheds from this past year I missed. It does not take them long to get just enough white to NOT be missed a second time. Besides...here there is 10 zillion square miles to hunt em' in. Do not know how to post pics yet. I will work on it. Anybody else have the same disease??

I have this "itch" every day of my life. All I want to do is feel that adrenaline rush of spotting that antler on the ground...PRICELESS!!

I had an attack recently as well... Must be something making the rounds!

I got gout at the tail end of elk horn season after carrying a 100 lb load of fresh elk off the mountain and was laid up all summer with a sore foot (hell getting old). We have had some great indian summer weather and I just had to get out and work off some lard. Found out I'm in the worst shape of my life! Saw lots of wildlife though with coyotes, sage grouse &bunnies galore. Dogs had a great time too.
