Cost?

What do think the cost of the signs that have the solar panels and flashing lights are for deer crossings? The deer keep getting killed here in No Ut and 'm wondering if it would help?

Cost is probably a lot more than you might think. Solar panels do not come cheap. I designed a project about six years ago where we installed solar-powered flashing lights at a school crossing and the cost at the time was about $4,500 for the sign, pole, flashers, solar panel, programing devise, battery (for the panel to charge), and labor.

Around here, some one just spray paints "watch for deer" on the road every mile or so.
