Controlled Hunt Bear

Had a chance to finally get out on my controlled hunt bear tag this last week. First day out, I found and shot this bear. Not quite as big as I would have hoped, but not too bad. I was way too frustrated from archery season, to pass up this bear, and now I can focus on finding a nice muley to shoot this rifle season. Thanks to GRIZZLY for the help on an area to hunt with this tag.

Congrats on the bruin!

Is that a 32A bear? I saw a ton of them in that unit this year. . . lots of houndsmen as well.

3 bears in 13 months, setting the standard for predator control. The rest of us need to do our parts.

Yup unit 32A, my first time ever hunting in that unit. I have hunted unit 32 before with quite a few bear sightings though.

Matt- If only we get get one of the numerous wolves we have seen this year we would be set!
