I don't know about the good guy part Zeke, but that experience ranks right up there for both of us. Like many hunter wannabes from our era, I wanted to be like Jack O'Connor and write for Outdoor Life for a living. Obviously my poor English grades in school didn't allow that to happen, but having Rusty select our story for the cover of Trophy Hunter is an honor. Probably as close as I will ever get to the outdoor writer dream.
If you want to talk about a good guy, pick up a copy off the news stand and read about what Bruce Engelby did for us! Now there is a good guy!
