That's all I can do to help your addiction...:)

After 2 days and about 45 combined miles of walking, this is the only shed me, my son, or browtine found in Arizona this past spring. We didn't even find it walking, I spotted it from the 4-wheeler about 40 yards from road!!!

LAST EDITED ON Nov-08-07 AT 05:07PM (MST)[p]Found these two old ones elk hunting last Saturday. I didn't see a single elk. The background is the area where they were found. The right one has a neat sticker on it.

Hope that helps fix your sheditis

Sheditis? I think what I have is a little more serious... During the elk hunt while stalking live elk I actually deviated from my plan of action just to pick up a shed. I had a herd of elk about 300 yards out and I just got sucked in by a small spike deer antler and then continued to pursue my quarry. Anyhow so far I am at 82 sheds for the year. 1 Moose 4 elk, and 77 deer. My best trip so far has yielded 17 antlers in one day but I average 1 antler every 2 days out in the field. Here are a few of my most recent finds.

Never thought that I would find a shed in St. George and I don't mind revealing this ones location because it takes a lot of time and effort to find the sheds out here. I actually spent a total of five days out there and came up with three two point sheds. Anyhow this shed is a result of the closure up north where I live... Here she is...

This next shed is one that dissapointed me. Anyhow as much as I like finding sheds I was actually in the pursuit of moose sheds when I found this one. I had been watching some bulls in the winter and saw some packing half their head gear so I marked the spot in my mind and came back in the summer only to find this guy...

On my long journey down the hill after locating that first shed I remembered seeing a bunch of deer bedded down and wintering in a spot on my way down. So I decided since they never really got disturbed I would see if they left me anything to show their appreciation for leaving them alone.. and..... They did...

As September came along I decided that this would be the first year that I would try getting me a forest grouse. So my next door neighbor conviced me to buy a fishing/small game permit and we headed out. I heard him fire his shot gun twice and so I decided that I would walk over and see if he kicked out any ruffed grouse and what did I find..... Yep an antler

I ended up going home with no grouse while my neighbor grudgingly took his two birds home wishing that he had the bone rather than the birs. Anyhow I decided if there is one side up there the might be another so I went back up with my shot gun to see I could redeem myself and get a grouse and maybe a left side... and came across this.....

It was a left side alright... Just not the one I was looking for. Anyhow during both the elk and the deer hunt I found a total of 8 sheds while in pursuit of live game. Starting to wonder if I should keep buying tags?

LAST EDITED ON Nov-09-07 AT 00:23AM (MST)[p]thanks alot guys, maybe that'll fix me for a day or two. Keep 'em coming if you got 'em! I'll be back at it soon although I gotta get a new camera as mine got drowned in the worst rainstorm I have ever encountered while hunting this year! With my new schedule this next year of four on and four off I think I'll be putting in a whole lot of time in the hills!
Wyohikeit, PLEASE tell me you picked up the other one in the pic of the eight point.

That is a catch and release area cookie2 but I did go look at it
and over 100 others like it!!!
