Doc said no elk hunting until I can get stronger. I better now. He said I could go deer hunting. First time in 30 years I can't hunt elk. But I did get the ok to hunt on the plains. I went down to the DOW today and was able to get a doe tag for Areas 143, 144, and 145. Late season whitetail hunt in Dec. I believe this area has the Comanche National Grass Lands in area 144. Has anyone hunted this area? I plan on making a couple of scouting trips before Dec. Any information would be helpful.
