To clarify, I didn't see any obvious physical signs of disease. It is my understanding that brucelosis (sp?) or whatever these sheep are supposedly threatened by will also affect the reproductive process, and may cause the lambs to be aborted. I didn't see any of this, but I didn't see any lambs either. There is no doubt in my mind that the lions are hammering them though. Evidence of this is easy to find.
I'm sure a biologist (or a brewmaster) can straighten us out on this, but I just wanted to clarify my statements. I'm sure we would have gotten around to it eventually anyway, but with AADD it hard to stay focused. Besides, I don't want to look too smart. I just want to fit in around here.
