colorado pronghorn rules

i was graciously bestowed a landowner pronghorn permit for colorado by a good friend. he isn't real sure about all the rules. can i just hunt on private land with this permit, or can i hunt public land also? one guy says i can hunt private (providing i have permission) and public land. but it seems like i read that landowner permits are only good on private land. anyone have the real deal here?

If it's a landowner voucher it's good unitwide, private or public. If it's a Private Land Only (PLO) licence from the draw or leftover list, it's only good on private land. If it was given to you it's a landowner voucher.
