I'm not going to give you any specific spots, but . . . Since moose are not all over the state, check the regulations for the moose areas to narrow it down. In general, moose will winter higher than deer or elk. They'll spend a lot of their time in those willow-choked drainages. Once the bulls get close to shedding (anywhere from late december to early february), especially the bigger ones, they'll rub pine trees to knock their antlers off. You'll know you're in the right spot when you are near abundant feed (willows) and you're in to a lot of sign (poo and rubbed trees). It generally takes a bunch of miles to finally find a moose shed.
