Correct me if I am wrong, you can apply for the hunt you really want as first choice and also apply for a second choice, and if you dont draw your first choice but draw your second choice then you will still recieve a pref. point and not loose your current pref.points, does that sound right, or do you loose your pref. points if you draw your second choice?

You were right the first time. You don't lose PPS if you draw on your second choice.
