CO sheep&goat units

What would you consider to be the best units for a NR to put in for. I am looking for tough draw odds. With an elk hunt this fall, drawing a sheep/goat tag would put a financial, martial & job (vacation) squezze on me! I hope to put in for the top units so if I am lucky enough to get drawn it would be well worth going.

You can look at the drawing results and hunt recaps to see how many put in for each area and how many were drawn and such. Good luck.

Good luck DonV! I could be wrong, but your odds are next to none as a non-res.

For Archery Ram, unit S32, 1 or 2.
For Rifle Ram, unit S32.

For Archery Goat, one choice G5.
For Rifle Goat, G4.

For Desert Ram, None Avail.

If you do draw, watch out for that Bigfoot (heehee), they love the Colorado High Country.

DonV, if you don't want to draw go for the S-32 Rifle or the S-6 Rifle 1 in 77//1 in 86
Goat--G-7 or G-4 super bad odds, getcha a $$ check for sure!

S-32 doesn't have a 2nd season choice for non-res. this year, it is 3rd season so for bow bad odds on Rams try S-32--01 or 03. I don't know why they switch ever other year on 2nd to 3rd seasons. The res. bow hunters hammered them in the 3rd season last year 6 out of 8 harvested..............!!
