co sheep/goat archery

Since I started getting into archery a couple years ago I noticed there are several areas that are archery only like S57 and S34 for sheep and several areas for goat too. Has anyone ever hunted these areas? Why do they do this? Any info would be great thanks, Gary

In the case of unit S34 it is a safety factor. Too close to homes and roads to be safe for rifle hunting. This may be the case with the other archery only units. I hunted 34 and 32, good units. Shot my ram 1st archery season in #32 in 2000, great hunt!
