CO on fire...

Just saw 3 fires today on the move. Reports 10 homes destroyed. We are having record heat and 10 day forecast are looking at near record highs and winds everyday. Despite a wet late spring things are drying out fast.

Hope my unit survives....

Just seen this thread after I posted in the campfire section.

The black forest fire is 8000 acres and estimated of 40-60 homes destroyed with very real possibility of that number being considerably higher.

Royal Gorge fire is at 4000 acres with buildings destroyed and currently evacuating the prison off the west end of town.
