I've been a die hard SF Giants fan since the late 50's or early 60's, but they finished in the cellar this year. I think it is time to end the Bonds era.
Just now I did a search on the Cleveland Indians to see when was the last time they won the World Series, if ever. It was 1948, vs. the Boston Braves. Further investigation shows that they won game 6 to take the Title. The date of that 6th game was Oct. 11, 1948. Which just happens to be the exact day I was born!

I'm guessing my mom was not at the game.
How weird is that? Does this mean they won't win again until I die?
They looked pretty good the last two games vs the Yankees
