Interesting. I went to school in California in the 1960's and took lots of history classes. Never once was I taught the the Civil War was fought solely over slavery. Slavery ended then but states rights was the reason for the war. He was there, he should know.

What we learned from the Civil War is far more important than anything the "woke" community has to offer.
