Chukar and Quail hatch

Down here in So Ca the hatch is coming along good so far, been seeing alot of young birds.It is looking like it could be a double hatch or a long drawn out single hatch. Seeing some large coveys of 2 adult birds and up to 33 fuzzballs from 2/3 grown to 1 1/2 fuzzy's. HOPING FOR A GREAT SEASON.
All the coveys are adults with chicks and they been really big coveys.

I was wondering about the hatch up north. Been seeing lots of adult quail but no babies yet.

I couldn't tell ya about up there,I know they got good moisture up there, I heard they are doing well around the Bishop area.

I just started seeing quail, since the 8th. Both in the desert and around Honey lake.

Been seeing double hatches and a few triple hatches. The season could be the best that we have seen in So.Ca. Dog training is going strong. hope to have one ready by the opener.
