I just read this article and have never heard about it until now.

Then I saw someone post this:
"The author of that story has written some follow up, seems like the DFG people are lying. Eric Sakach is a HSUS employee and has taught at least one course to LEO's. The follow up article has some pretty compelling information that seems to support his accusations........"
http://www.wonews.com/t-EditorialReport_HSUS_DFG_111011.aspx
"The HSUS was adamantly opposed to the increase in the bear harvest number and is trying to get onto the panel that is supposed to "reform" the DFG. They are no friend to the hunting community."
".......The HSUS has long argued for a more democratic structure within wildlife management policy. And last year Gov. Schwarzenegger signed into law Assembly member Jared Huffman?s AB 2376, calling on the agency ?to develop a strategic vision for reform of the Department of Fish and Game and the Fish and Game Commission, with help of a blue ribbon task force and stakeholder advisory group to enable the state to better meet its public trust responsibilities for fish and wildlife, and to address 21st Century challenges to wildlife stewardship.? We have asked to participate on this task force......"

Did all you CA hunters now about this? Thought I would share this in case someone has net heard about all of this.
