I just found out tonight that my friends and I have lost access to the ranch we planed to elk hunt in this unit. I never researched a single thing about this unit because I thought we were locked into this ranch. I see looking at the regs that this unit falls in the Wallowa-Whitman NF, and Vale BLM. Can anyone tell me if I should focus my efforts on one or the other. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm leaving Sunday afternoon. Thanks.
