Did a little evening irrigating yesterday and came back to the pickup and this was in the back seat. Had the windows rolled down and he flew right in. About scared the crap out of me when he started hissing and doing his big mean dance. I let him perch on my favorite set of antlers for the night. I guess he's old enough to take care of himself.

Mike, I'm glad you were kind to that bird. It looks like Kilowatts parrot that escaped last fall found a mate. He was worried about it.

Great pics. Its amazing the wildlife you run into irrigating at all hourse of the night. I once had a bobcat stalking me along the ditch bank.
