It is hard not to assign some level of mental culpability to him. Even as the Supreme Court put it, "King's own provocation." And lest we forget, the riots which resulted in the deaths of over 50 people, and $1 billion in property and businesses being burnt, looted, and otherwise destroyed, came on the heels of four men being acquitted on charges of criminal wrongdoing in a State Court of Law.
EVERYBODY in that event could have handled things differently for the better. King is no exception.

elkun, Nowhere did I say King was a nice guy. Look again at my post. There comes a time in life where a man grows up. What I thought about what happened back then, has changed some today.
