Ok, many of you have guessed the right place, but no way you can see it in the first picture. Here is the photo.

Not what you would see everyday.

And here is one more and the story. Yeah so the story goes like this----went out looking for this huge huge buck we saw during the winter and of course never found his sheds, but we stopped in the only shade for lunch (just 10 or so aspens in a pocked surrounded by miles of sage), and we are eating our lunch (Dad and I), and I notice this cool eagle?s feather on the ground. So I go over to pick it up, and I am under the tree and look straight up at the nest and just about fell over. I said hey dad I found a shed. Of course he thought I had seen something in the grass. This shed was up there about 20 ft, and it is an average 4 pt and since it is on the bottom it is in pretty good shape. Just not something you would expect to find in a tree.

Enjoy and remember some sheds are not on the ground!!

That is great! I guess the compitition in your area just got that much tuffer. I would hate to have to compete with those eagle eyes for sheds. Not to mention I have to spend quite a few hours a day behind the computer and most birds I know get to spend all day every day looking for sheds.

Yeah, it is bad enough to try beat all of the foot guys, ATVs, chute planes, and rodents. I would have NEVER guessed that an eagle would have used a shed for nest. But maybe a person needs to train a hawk or eagle for shed hunting. Great, now I will have to compete with that too...

Looks like a very talon-ted shed collector. Cool pics.

Nice DeerKing---you are always thinking!

Even if I could have reached it, I had to leave it. It was up in the tree a ways, so I know no one put it there. Now if it was a Monster with some trash, you might have seen some pictures of me haulin my fat butt up that tree.
