Camping food, we survived....

Went to Sun Valley for the wife's 70th birthday weekend, then on up to Coure d'Alene and Lake Pend Oreille for a week. Lots of time with friends, bunch of going out to dinner, and managed to eat a bunch of steaks and burgers in the campground. With the little RV grill and a pot to boil water, you too can survive! My idea of a perfectly done pound of bacon for breakfast.

You really know how to piss a guy off in the morning, Blank. God damn those steak look appetizing! The grill marks, fat-assed bacon, a little pilaf.

Bastard...

I thought this was going to be a thread about hunting meals gone wrong…..like that time I thought I was hungry enough to eat “fresh” (fertile) eggs and spam with ants on it.

Breakfast egg stories gone wrong... In the Navy on submarines, and we usually loaded between 8-10K chicken eggs (for the crew of 120 men). Lasted about 3-5 weeks, until the eggs started going bad - the Philipino stewards and cooks took great pleasure in cooking and eating the "balutes". :)
