IN A PAN OF BOILING WATER??

COFFEE AND BREAKFAST IN ONE PAN.

I was the self appointed camp cook for 20+ years (some of those other guys are horrible cooks) We had a 30 cup porcelain pot. Camp coffee is easy. Fill the pot with water add 3 big hands full of coffee. Put it on the fire until you have a full rolling boil. Add a cup of cold water to sink the grounds and serve. When its gone fill the pot with water (don't dump) and add 2 hands full of coffee and do it again. This works for 3 or four pots before you have to start over. Never any complaints (one time it was bad but that is a whole different story)

I've been on hunts where the guide pulls out a pot and puts grounds and water in it and sets it in the fire. Nothing better than cowboy coffee on the mountain when it is cold and wet.
