yup antler stain and varnish. I shouldn't have done it but i can easily take it all off with citistrip.

it sounded like Bambistew insulted my antlers with the stain and varnish saying that is sick. at least i think it is negative. if he is complementing, i apologize, if not, i need to kick his ass!

I believe that the youngsters of today use the word "sick" as a positive. I think he was complementing you on a nice find. It would have been easier for you to understand if Bambi would have said. " Dude that set is sick!" at least then you would have known that he was probably younger and meant no disrespect.

Here's my opinion...those look good but obviously not natural. Some like their antlers stained dark and others prefer them natural...to each his own. Thanks for the pic and please don't scare me by threatening to kick my ass...
