I finally recieved my first real cow tag. I've had a depredation hunt for cow elk from a landowner in the past and obviously it was a little different kind of hunt when your hunting them in farm fields.
I usually only hunt mule deer and I'm starting to second guess my selected location and my strategy for this cache cow tag.
Im feeling the pressure from the wife to come home with the meat.
She's telling me to come home with meat or don't come home at all. Feel my drift????
She loved the elk steaks and loved how well it stocked the freezer. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
Am I gunna have better luck at still hunting or spot and stalk?
Thanks

resources for the public as a whole, for the

"It is in our power...to preserve game..and to give
reasonable opportunities for the exercise of the
skill of the hunter, whether he is or is not a man of
means."
