Buying a new riflescope

Looking to get a new scope. I would like to get a 4-16x50 scope, but saw cameraland's ad for pre-ordering the vortex 6.5-20x44. The price on it is great (don't mind having to wait as I didn't draw a single thing), but is the low end of 6.5 mag going to be too much in every day hunting?

I really don't think it will unless, you are consistently shooting 25 yard shots. Practice with it, and I don't think you will have problems.
