Went into an area that had a fire this last summer, to see what it uncovered. I learned that bone does burn. Found lots of burned antler stumps, and lots of antlers that crumbled in my hand due to being nothing more than ash. Saw what remained of one typical muley shed that was reduced to ash that probably had a 20+ inches G2. I think it probably measured 30" from the burr to the tip of its G2. I didn't even try to pick it up, and I don't know why a didn't think to take a picture of it. Here are a few ATLs that I did take:
