Morning All,
Long time user of this site, I think from '99 but don't post much plus I seem to always forget my pass word and trying to retrieve it here on MM, I can't get it done. Any hows here's my story. My kids are out of the house and all got their degrees and working good jobs, my wife passed away awhile back so I live alone and moved from central Ca. to Moscow, Idaho and really like it up here. I have been hunting for maybe 45 years with a rifle and maybe 30 years with a bow. However I've never have gotten anything with any size so what I am doing is starting my bucket list. I did draw a Le tag for the south slope of the diamond mountains and with some paper work I was able to hunt a extended season until Nov. 29th but my wife passed and I did'nt go. That was in '06. I have a few bonus points now so it will be awhile I draw again. I what to hunt Wyoming, Montana, colorado and ut. I figure landowner tag are the way to go. How do they work? After I get the landowner tag what else do I have to buy? Licence? Are the landowner tags for non-resident? How do you get a prefernce point for Co.? My knees are a real pain so I'm running out of time and real what some nice mounts. They don't have to be monsters just a nice mule deer and a nice elk.One from each state. I do have a few bucks to do this and I do like a do it yourself type hunt. I have the time so why the hell not!! And they say you can't take it with you. All help and tips welcome. Thank You.
