The rumor I heard was that the road from the highway to the Browne turn off has been paved, is this true and why on earth did they do that?

They probably got tired of fixing it every year. That place is not like it used to be, paying to camp in the Uintas is not fun. I have been hitting some of the other lakes in the area the last few years.
