That’s one of a small handful of life dreams that I never got to experience. My own choosing but never the less, it got away on me.

It’s pretty important to think about, isn’t it Tikka. Here’s a tidbit for you young fellers, in your early thirties: The last third of the hourglass slips away a lot faster than the middle third. There is season for everything and all seasons are not equal, when it comes to cost and endurance. Don’t put off the most difficult tasks until the end of the day.

Exactly why I’m striving to tackle the more physical dream hunts of mine in my mid 30s then as I get older and have more money I can focus on the easier physical dream hunts.

I've always wanted a grizzly/brown but it hasn't been in the cards.

I got on the "sheep-kick" in the 70's and have been hooked ever since. Just when I'd have enough for a good bear hunt, I squander the dough on a mountain hunt for sheep.

Good thing I don't have a dozen+ brown bear mounts at my house. Yikes!

Almost, The taxidermist still has 3 of them but one of those is about done.

That should put me at a baker's dozen+ when all wrapped up.

I had another sheep hunt booked/paid for Russia this year but we know how that's going to turn out.

Good way to consider your plan !! Another thought is to go for the Gold right off if you can- most wanted 1 st trophies then down the line easier or not as expensive. Your health will likely be a much more of a problem the older you get !
I’m going to be 75 in 2 more months, how did that happen ?? Been hunting since I was 8 years old. It’s been one heck of a ride.
Don’t bank on more $$$ as you get older- it could be lots less. Companies are so damn greedy & have no need to be decent—use them up & throw away like trash - expendable !!! So go full bore early & not later!
