Congrats, that doe is good size and will supply many delicious meals. My family preferred antelope meat over venison due to it's milder taste. My father in law taught me to get them skinned out and field dressed fast and cool down and you end up with the best meat.

Yes elk, took a youth hunting and at 256 the shot was just a touch back. Alls well that ends well though. Just short some hanging tenders....

Do not listen to DW and stick one of my custom knives in a dishwasher. Even stabilized wood will not withstand the heat and water of a dishwasher.
A carbon steel knife will rust from using a dishwasher, S30V steel is stainless and will probably survive a dishwasher, but the handle scales will not.
One member on this forum sent me a knife to repair that had went though a dishwasher. I repaired that one for free, but from here on out it will cost you for any repair due to neglect and that includes using a dishwasher to clean the knife.
