Broke 50 today...

My amazing year continues! Previously, I averaged about a doz. sheds per year...with these today I broke 50! (count=52)I had hiked several times in an area, only to find antlers still on the deer! I'm grateful to find the matched set to at least one of the 4 nice bucks I encountered there!Amazing luck, too to find other sheds for the first time in about 4 hikes!

Pete, I'm glad to see that you are having your best year ever. You've got some good bone there. There was an antler buyer in Elko today and he had a 95" deer shed from the Pioche area and it had cracks in it and is 2 or 3 years old. Well I'm not the kind of guy to buy antlers and I only really want antlers that I find personally. I have bought one moose paddle and one reindeer antler but only because they are a novelty in Nevada. But when I saw that 95" Nevada antler I knew that I would appreciate it more than the antler buyer would so I bought it for $20.00. I was thinking of you the whole time knowing that it was found in your neck of the woods. I'll try to post up a picture soon. fatrooster.
