Over the years I haved used a wide variety including Muzzy, Steel Force, Rockets and Magnus. Just been looking at the Wac'em and the Sonic... Does anyone have any info on them? Thanks for the heads up.
I had some Wac'em heads sent to me to test and they performed VERY well. Arrow flight was exceptional, spin test flawless, blade sharpness was good. Their design is unique, as the replaceable blades line up with a cutting tip, making it a cut on impact traditional type 3 bladed head. Their only downfall, in my opinion, is their cost. A bit pricy for me. Hope it helps.
True but they are still a bit pricy for the average archer. Having sold broadheads to MANY archers over the years, most look at it this way.
I believe Wac'em heads retail for about $32.00 for 4 heads. If you compare that to say Muzzy or Thunderheads, they retail for about $29.00 for 6. When you order a dozen broadheads, the Wac'em will cost you $96.00. The Muzzy or Thunderheads will cost you $58.00. That's a $38.00 savings, which you could actually buy 6 more Muzzys or Thunderheads with.
Don't get me wrong, Wac'em heads are the real deal with a great engineering design. I just don't see a lot of bow hunters in my parts asking for them over the others due to their price.
i noticed everyone has commented on the Wac'em broadheads i had many questionss about these two broadheads myself. If you go to www.broadheadtests.com you can compare these two heads with the tests that were run i ordered the sonic 100 grain heads for 42.00 and they come with six broadheads. Broadheads fly just like my fieldpoints out to 50 yards (haven't shot any further than that) and i am shooting 269 fps i was impressed
