Wanted to start a little survey of my fellow archers.

What Broadhead have you harvested the most animals with.

I will start: I have shot 5 with Interlock.

How about you guys?

Bought some Strikers now:), using them this season and Wac-ems.

Thunderheads, But always seem to lose the blades during impact and jostling around in the animal before expiring, So I am giving the Fixed blade G5 montec's a try and so far have liked them, Haven't lost a blade yet.

Tagline

Too many to count, all with 100 gr. Thunderheads!

Here are the totals:

Muzzy 76

Thunderhead 43

Interlock 12

wac-em 11

Tekan 9

Montec 1

Expandables 11

Zwickey 52.

we need a few of those Texas boys who hunt wild pigs year round to post... and maybe a few from Alabama where the limit is a deer a day during the season, Arkansas has a 3 or 4 deer a season limit. My baby brother down in Arkansas has killed more turkeys with his bow than I ever will harvest big game..uses copperheads and Rothers Snuffers... the 150-170gr deals with a old Bear grizzly recurve and cedar arrows... too bad he has never harvested a deer over 120lbs...LOL

Magnus Stinger: 1 elk, 1 Javelina
Wasp 130 gr: 1 elk, 1 Deer

Switching to Wac'ems this yr. Somehow the Wasps were the best flying heads I ever shot.

3 elk muzzy 125
1 deer muzzy 100
1 turkey muzzy 100
1 unlucky squirrel(lucky shot)muzzy 125 a bit much for the job!!
I like muzzies for their durabilty, they just work.

Pop's has prolly taken b/n 30 and 40 deer w/ thunderheads, and I'm prolly around the 10-15 mark (all w/ thunderheads). Used 125's up until we switched to carbons a few years ago, and now use the 100's. Great product that has provided no reason to try anything else.

Fairly new to the sport:

1 Blacktail, Sattelite 125 grn
2 Blacktail, Rocky Mountain Premier 75 grn
1 Blacktail, Muzzy 100 grn 3 blade
2 Muley, Muzzy 100 grn 3 blade

The Muzzy's are the most popular in my circle of friends, very durable at a reasonable price.

shot and recovered my first elk with a 100 gr. thunderhead. almost lost him though.
second elk was shot at 15 yds. with a 100 gr. thunderhead. i one lunged him and never found the elk.
third elk was killed and recovered 30 yd. later with a magnus stinger 85 gr. with bleeders. the arrow passed all the way through and he bled out in 15 min. with a lung and liver hit. lots of damage and a good clean kill.
i am switching to the piston point mech. for this elk season. they are impressive. have to wait and see i guess.

All of mine have been killed with Thuderhead 125 except my first two deer, one was with Rocky Mountain Razor, and the other with PSE Brute. Been using thunder heads for many years, never a complaint.
