Bries 2009 Utah Gen Season Deer

This deer was shot on a Utah General Season unit on the opener of the rifle hunt. The deer was taken by a co-workers daughter. It was her first year hunting.

This deer had been hunted hard by several locals during the archery and muzz hunt but was not seen during those hunts. I seen the deer after she shot it and it is a dandy. I can only hope to take one like that some day. Maybe they will get on here and tell a little more about it. Congrats

Thats a good buck.. what else could you ask for on a general hunt? he looks to be right at 30 or a little over? Maybe a low 180 buck.


Sit tall in the saddle, hold your head up high, keep your eyes fixed to where the trail meets the sky...
