Breaking 100

My dad and i went out camping this weekend for my dads birthday and i finally broke the 100 horn mark for this year. we both found 14 sheds. ive got 113 my dads got 79.THis was my 100th horn.

Love that three point eyeguard! Congrats on breaking 100. Like your Dad I'm at 79 and I just started working a shutdown for 40 nights straight. Hope I can break 100 after the shutdown. fatrooster.

Great sheds! I never find big eyeguards in the areas i hunt.

Wow!!! 100 antlers!!! That is doing some work. I have only found maybe 50 antlers in 6 years here in N. Utah. Congrats.

It amazes me you and your Dad can find so many. I cover a lot of ground on my hikes, and every shed has been by pure luck. I'll never catch you guys! So far only 3 elk sheds (one brownie), one mule deer deadhead (small 3x4), and a half-doz. deer sheds (1 match)...that's it.I'm trying hard to break 10!!

I use shed hunting as my spring exercise program. I must say I do a lot of hiking but like someone else said if I find 10 total sheds between Deer and Elk it's amazing. I only get to go out a handful of times though.

One question - do you find most of your sheds on private or public ground ???

nice work. i had a little over 100 last year, i'm shooting for 200 this year. still got a long ways to go, i am sitting somewhere around 75 now. hope i make it

Thanks for all the comments. I find all my sheds on public land. most of them on general units.

Nice job!!you find a lot of nice 3 point sheds i also do most of my horn hunting on public lands i have had a good year so far i'm sitting at 131 and have 15 sets and i think 9 or 10 singles over 85inches so i'll try to post some but untill then good luck.

15 sets so far this year is pretty good work ,I think we have 10-12 sets out of 190 horns between the two of us, we still cant figure out if this year is better than last year, most of our horns we are finding are in places we have never looked before.

I have been finding a lot in new places also went out to one new area and found like 50 in 3 days something like 4 or 5 sets. Now I am up to 151 by myself and 21 sets so i am having a good year. Where abouts you at like southern utah?
