Bowsight suggestions?

I am setting up a new bow and noticed there seem to be a million sights out there these days. I don't like dovetail designs (or atleast I have had problems with them before), but other than that, I am open to whatever. i would like to get away without spending a fortune, but I am considering all. I kinda liked the Vital Gear Pentagon when I saw it last year at a store and see the ads for the G5 Optix with the adjustable last pin. Both are expensive and I don't know anyone using either. Seems like the G5's pins aren't as bright, but don't know for sure. Any suggestions out there?

I love my Black Gold 7 pin. The have this special photo cromatic system where when its really bright it darkens your pins and when it darkens your pins its a pretty sweet deal. Plus they're really reasonably priced i got mine for like $110.

i use the spott hog real deal and love them , dont know what you want to spend on sights cuse they cost alot.

Good luck,

I've had no problems with my Black Gold sight.
The only sight I've ever had a problem with it loosening up is the Trophy Ridge sight.
I've also used the Cooper John Deadnuts sight really liked it too.

Have used Copper John sights for the last few years and have been very pleased.

LAST EDITED ON Mar-10-08 AT 10:18AM (MST)[p]Any one of the Spot Hogg sights will have the best construction available. They are bulletproof. I have the Hunter Hogg It 7 pin with the Hog Wrap. It is simply fantastic. No dovetails either.

LAST EDITED ON Mar-10-08 AT 03:30PM (MST)[p]Go look at the truglo trusite extreme. its a micro adjustable site that comes in 5 or 7 pins and is built well and won't cost you and arm or a leg. You won't need any tools to adjust it even in small increments and it's bright and well made. It's a winner for the money and about $75.00- $100.00 less than a Spot hog.I also like Cobra sites for a well priced product.

7 deadly pins by spot hogg.
