I am just now starting my research into an Alaska Caribou hunt for 2005 or 2006. I did a search to see what previous members have said. Good info.
This is what I am looking for:
Unguided Fly-in camp for 4 to 6 hunters.
Five to Seven Days.
Their physical abilities range from real good shape down to the average 65 year old (complete with knee problems).
Huge Bulls are not needed but seeing fair numbers are a must.
Some in the party will use archery, some blackpowder, and one or two will use rifles.
We just want to have fun, see good country, and see some 'bou.
