Bookcliffs roadless area

Does anybody know if you can make it all the way to the trailhead coming from the south off of I-70. Going to be pulling a horse trailer so i don't want to run into snow.

I tried it about two weeks ago and there was still 2 1/2' at the trailhead. We parked down at the bottom and rode up. There were places before the trailhead in the road that the drifts were upwords of 4'. Hope that helps

How far away from the trailhead did you have to park? Did you see any bear or any sign.

Had to park about 2 1/2 - 3 miles below the trailhead. There wasn't a track of any kind except some deer in the bottom.
