Bookcliffs road conditions

Has any body been to the bookcliffs the last week or so?
I would like to go out next weekend but it sounds like they have gotten alot of snow this year. I will be going in from the north side up seep ridge.I just hate to wast a trip if you can't get around.

there today at work 6" fresh snow still alot snow roads are way rutted deep ugly mud 4 low with studded tires chained up all way around sat to make back in the afternoon mud bogs sippie holes have fun not!!!!

i tried going up there sunday morning and couldn't get anywhere. the roads are terrible along with the snow

Roads are horrible right now. There is still a lot of snow too. Some of the main roads aren't passable without chains right now. You might make it in early in the morning or late in the evening when it is frozen, but not in the middle of the day. Hiking conditions are horrible. The one thing I like is that the ATV's can't grid it like they usually do. Camping would be really hard, it is super snowy and muddy everywhere if you had a tent, and you can't really pull a trailer around anywhere, let alone find a place to park it.

If we had a week of good weather and the usual wind...they'd be dusty again but yes they are BAD right now
