Bonners Ferry

My wife's family owns property up around Bonners Ferry. They have invited me to come up archery huntin this coming year. They aren't into huntin so when I ask questions, they don't have a lot of anwers.

Never hunted ID, and wanted some info on the area. They tell me they have whitey's running around and a few elk. Also A LOT of turkeys.

Is it worth an out-of-stater to buy an over the counter tag(s)?

I have never hunted up there but I have seen quite a few bruisers in photos from around there. If you have private land to hunt on should be pretty darn good chance at one. I would gamble on it one year and see what happens.

Late season Archery? Rattle and grunt. Some huge bucks up there!!!!!!!!!!!!
