Bondurant Elk Unit 84

Guy's I have set my sights on this area for the up and coming general hunt. Was wondering how much pressure the area gets? Elk numbers? Am not looking for any honey holes, just was wondering what to expect! Thanks in advance!

Go north out of Bondurant a few miles, take a left at cliff creek, drive to the trailhead for cliff creek falls. Backpack or horseback to switchbacks beside the falls. When you top out you'll be in the right area.

LAST EDITED ON Mar-31-08 AT 02:07PM (MST)[p]Yep as is the case with most every area in that region nowadays. The areas are falling way short of the reputations they earned 30-40 years ago but people are still coming.

Much better elk hunting than deer in those areas.

Spotted Horse Ranch used to throw a good Halloween party in that area.
