Bogen swivel head pistol grip

I have the pistol grip head and it seems to be getting looser. I can move the head easily withou even pulling the grip. How can I fix this? Is there an adjustment somewhere?

Strap it to the back of your 4-wheeler and drive around for about a half a day. Dust will get into the ball mechanism. I know that it sounds like I'm being sarcastic but I'm not. It works. Before doing this, first check the tension adjustment located on the handgrip. Adjust it tighter if you have any adjustment left. Or you could spray contact cleaner into the ball mechanism. It is a dry type cleaner. Do not relube the ball unless you need it. Then use it sparingly until you get the desired amount of movement. Last option, buy a new one. fatrooster.

There is a little allen head screw at the base of the grip, tighten this and it will fix your problem. I had the same issue.
