Excellent for 15x binocs. Right height, stable, pans real well, can be used as shooting sticks (main purpose) and as a walking stick.
I did not like it with my spotting scope for the following reason. It is not real tight on the actual sticks so when you move the scope and let go it does not hold steady.
This may be fixed with something as simple as a toothpick wedged in there, and it may be just the one i bought.
With the 15x binocs you are normally applying pressure on them as you pan so that eliminates that problem. And of course the higher the power the worse the problem with movement is.
